Norsk Test AS is the data controller for personal data processed on this website.

What information we collect

When contacting us, requesting a demo or making an enquiry

When you submit a contact form, request a demo or get in touch with us, we may store information you provide yourself, for example:

• name
• email address
• organisation / company
• phone number
• role
• country
• expected test volume
• how you found us
• the content of your message

When placing an order or submitting an Enterprise enquiry

In addition to the above, we may also store:

• organisation number
• invoice address
• desired modules or customisations
• description of your needs

When purchasing a subscription

When completing a purchase, we may also store:

• payment method (invoice, card or Vipps)
• transaction reference
• invoice number and payment status

How we use your information

The information is used to:

• handle your enquiry or order
• contact you if needed
• arrange and follow up on a possible demo
• process and fulfil your order
• issue invoices and handle payment
• provide relevant information about Yerbu and our services

The information is not used for automated decision-making and is not sold to third parties.

Payment and payment solutions

Subscription purchases are currently handled by invoice.

We plan to offer card payment and Vipps. When these payment solutions are in place, the following will apply:

• Card payment: Payments are processed by an external payment provider. Norsk Test AS does not store card information — this is handled by the payment provider in accordance with applicable security standards (PCI DSS).
• Vipps: Transactions are processed by Vipps AS in accordance with their own terms and privacy policy.

This policy will be updated when new payment solutions are introduced.

Sharing of information

Information may be processed in systems we use to operate the website, forms, customer dialogue and payments – for example hosting, email, customer support systems, analytics tools and payment solutions.

Such providers process the information on behalf of Norsk Test AS, and data processing agreements are entered into where required by law.

Retention period

We store information for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and follow up the dialogue.

Information related to purchases and invoicing is stored in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act, which requires retention for a minimum of 5 years.

You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we have stored about you, unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies for marketing.

We use the analytics tool PostHog to understand how the website is used – for example which features visitors discover and use. The tool stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser's local storage (localStorage). The identifier is not linked to your name, email address or other information you provide, and is not used for tracking across websites.

PostHog may also store anonymised recordings of how the website is used – such as mouse movements, clicks and page views – to improve the user experience. Anything you type into forms (such as name, email and phone number) is masked and is not included in the recordings.

The analytics data is stored and processed in the EU (PostHog Cloud EU) on behalf of Norsk Test AS.

If we later adopt additional analytics tools or payment solutions that use cookies, this statement will be updated.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the information we have stored about you
• request correction of inaccurate information
• request deletion of information, unless we have a statutory obligation to retain it
• lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we are processing your data in breach of data protection legislation
